I am a natural light photographer living and working in the greater Vancouver area and Fraser Valley. I specialize in lifestyle, family, and event photography. My goal as a photographer is to capture you, your family, and your special events with authenticity.

I draw my inspiration from nature and whenever possible I prefer to shoot outdoors. Beach, mountains, forest, I will travel anywhere to get your perfect shot.

My ideal atmosphere in a shoot is relaxed and candid. Rather than simply posing you and your loved ones I aim to capture you as you are. I love photographing children as they play, and couples as they interact naturally.

I have a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Glasgow, and Christie’s Education in London. Even throughout my academic career I have always loved and pursued photography. My study of Art History informs my work as a photographer and continues to be a source of inspiration.

After returning to Vancouver from the UK I worked for five years as a studio photographer producing images for catalogues, as well as advertising, for a fine arts and antiques auction house. I left the auction house to have my daughter Eleanor in 2015, and ever since I have been devoting an increasing amount of time to my first passion, natural light photography.
